There's nothing quite like capturing the exact moment someone says yes, and Amy and Joey's surprise proposal at Sunset Beach on Treasure Island was full of pure, unscripted emotion from start to finish.


A Surprise Proposal at Sunset Beach


Joey planned every detail of the surprise, and Amy had no idea what was coming as they walked along Sunset Beach. Photographing candidly from a distance let me capture her genuine reaction the second Joey got down on one knee, the surprise on her face, the tears, and the joy that followed.


Golden Hour on Treasure Island


Sunset Beach lives up to its name, and the timing of this proposal could not have been better. The sky lit up in soft pinks, oranges, and golds right as Joey asked the question, giving us a naturally romantic backdrop without needing to plan a thing.
