Treasure Island Family Photographer: A Family Beach Portrait Session
There's a reason Treasure Island stays one of my favorite spots for family portraits. Soft sand, wild sea oats swaying in the dunes, and that hazy evening light gave this session a relaxed, coastal feel from start to finish.
A Family Session Among the Dunes
We started the session up among the dunes, using the tall sea oats and natural texture of the beach grass as a soft, layered backdrop for portraits. The muted green and white tones the family wore blended beautifully into the landscape, giving every shot a calm, cohesive look.
Walking the Shoreline Together
As the evening went on, we moved down to the shoreline for portraits along the water, capturing the family walking together as the sky shifted into softer blues and grays. Those in between moments, laughing together, little ones being swung around, always end up being some of the most cherished images from a session like this.
Why Treasure Island is Great for Family Portraits
Treasure Island offers a wonderfully varied backdrop for family photography, from the textured dunes and sea oats near the access points to the wide open shoreline itself. That variety within a single stretch of beach makes it easy to capture a range of looks in one session, all without leaving the island.
