Few causes are as close to home as the Ronald McDonald House, and this year's Storybook Ball brought a Luca theme to the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel for an elegant evening of dinner, dancing, and generosity in support of families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.


Supporting Families Across Tampa Bay


Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay has spent over 40 years providing a home away from home for families with children receiving medical care, operating five houses across the area since 1980. The Storybook Ball is one of the organization's signature fundraising events each year, and the energy in the room reflected just how much the community shows up for it.

This year's Storybook Ball leaned into a Luca theme, bringing a playful, seaside storybook feel to the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel's elegant ballroom. The evening moved through a full seated dinner, a live auction with plenty of spirited bidding, and a dance floor that filled up fast once the music started. Guests dressed in bold, colorful cocktail attire, and the string lights and vibrant decor gave the whole night a warm, celebratory feel from the cocktail hour straight through to the last dance.
