St. Petersburg Proposal Photographer: Sarah and Watt's Surprise Proposal


Downtown St. Petersburg has no shortage of beautiful spots for a surprise proposal, and Watt chose one of the best, South Straub Park, right along the waterfront near the St. Petersburg Yacht Club.


A Surprise Proposal at South Straub Park


Watt kept the plan under wraps, and Sarah had no idea what was coming as they walked through South Straub Park's open green space. Staying back and photographing candidly let me capture her real, unfiltered reaction the moment Watt got down on one knee, pure surprise followed by all the emotion that comes right after.


Downtown St. Pete Waterfront Views


With the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and the open waterfront just steps away, South Straub Park gave us a gorgeous mix of green lawn and downtown skyline for the backdrop. It's a setting that feels both relaxed and undeniably St. Pete, perfect for a moment this big.
