Anna Maria Island Wedding Photographer: Deb and Andy's Beach Wedding
Some weddings just belong on the beach, and Deb and Andy's Anna Maria Island wedding was one of them. Soft white sand, navy blue and khaki linen, and a sunset that seemed to know exactly when to show up. As an Anna Maria Island wedding photographer, days like this one are why I love shooting on the Gulf coast.
Anna Maria Island Beach Ceremony
Deb and Andy said their vows under a simple bamboo arbor right on the sand, with the Gulf as their backdrop. Guests sat in white chairs facing the water, and the late afternoon light gave everything a warm, golden glow. Andy watched Deb walk down the sandy aisle on her father's arm, and the emotion on his face said everything. Simple, elegant, and completely them.
Navy and Khaki Wedding Party on the Sand
The wedding party kept things easygoing with navy dresses for the bridesmaids and khaki linen for the guys, barefoot the whole way through. It's a color combination that works so well against white sand and blue water, and it photographed beautifully in that late day light.
Golden Hour Wedding Portraits on Anna Maria Island
Once the ceremony wrapped, we headed down the beach for portraits as the sun started to dip. Anna Maria Island does not disappoint when it comes to sunsets, and this one delivered layers of orange, pink, and gold behind Deb and Andy as they walked the shoreline together. The whole wedding party got in on it too, with group shots that capture just how much fun this crew was having.
A Classic Vintage Car Send-Off
No beach wedding is complete without a little flair, and Deb and Andy topped off the night with a ride in a vintage convertible, sand still on their feet and smiles still on their faces.
